En mycket ovanlig och fin ljuskrona i förgylld brons och mässing behängd med wachtel och pärlprismor i böhmisk handpolerad kristall.

Den förgyllda burformade stommen är rikligt ornamenterad och gjutningar samt efterarbete är förstaklassigt.

Det genomgående temat i kronan är en vegetativ ornamentik från pinjekotten i botten till dess bladornamnetrade armar och ljushållare i form av blommor. Kronans topp kröns av fyra örnhuvuden som håller en girlang av prismor i deras munnar, huvudena påminner om de som man kan se i arbeten hos Pierre Gouthière.

Det allra märkvärdigaste med denna krona och vilket gör den verkligen unik är kristallurnan i dess mitt. Denna urna med ett lock krönt av ännu en förgylld pinjekotte är stor. Urnan mäter nästan 30 cm i höjd och har en diameter på 20 cm. Den rikt slipade och utsmyckade urnan i sk mediciform har dessutom plats för en lampa i dess mitt som ger både den och kronan i dess helhet ett underbart skimmer.

Ljuskronan är tillverkad i sekelskiftet mellan 1800 och 1900 och som modet påbjöd då har den en hel massa olika stilinfluencer i sig. Ljuskronan lånar både från Louis XV och Louis XVI-stilen dvs rokoko och nyklassicism. En mellanstor ljuskrona för den som söker något verkligt unikt.

Ljuskronan har plats för 12 levande ljus samt är elektrifierad.

A very unusual and fine chandelier in gilded bronze and brass, decorated with wachtel and pearl prisms in Bohemian hand-polished crystal.

The gilded cage-shaped frame is richly ornamented and the castings and finishing are first class.

The consistent theme of the crown is a vegetative ornamentation from the pine cone at the bottom to its leaf ornamented arms and the candle holders in the form of flowers. The top of the crown is crowned by four eagle heads holding a garland of prisms in their mouths, the heads reminiscent of those seen in works by Pierre Gouthière.

The most remarkable thing about this crown and what makes it truly unique is the crystal urn in its center. This urn with a lid topped with another gilded pine cone is large. The urn measures almost 30 cm in height and has a diameter of 20 cm. The richly polished and decorated urn in so-called Medici form also has room for a lamp in its center, which gives both it and the crown as a whole a wonderful glow.

The chandelier was manufactured at the turn of the century between 1800 and 1900 and, as fashion dictated at the time, it has a whole lot of different style influences in it. The chandelier borrows from both the Louis XV and Louis XVI styles, i.e. rococo and neoclassicism. A medium-sized chandelier for those looking for something truly unique
